How to use the Embrace App
About the app

You can use the Alert app to check that the Embrace is connected properly, to manage your settings for notifying a caregiver in the event of a seizure, and for noting down whether the generated alerts were an actual seizure or a false alarm.

In order to work, the Android phone must be kept in the same room as the patient with the Embrace watch.

Every time the Embrace watch detects a possible epileptic seizure, it generates an alert.

Please open the Alert application whenever an alert occurs (or at least once a day) and note down:

1
if each alert was a seizure or a false alarm
2
if it was a seizure, the severity of attack and its duration
The Alert app is divided into the following sections
Status
1
Is the Embrace connected properly?
2
Will the Embrace call a caregiver in the event of an alert?
Is the option to call a caregiver in case of an alert activated?
3

Rest Mode increases sensitivity for night-time and sends an alert to the application.
!

Turn on rest mode before sleep.
